A journey is always interesting. It is also an exciting experience. A railway journey is more so. A traveled from Delhi to Haridwar by train last Monday. I reached the Delhi station half an hour earlier. I stood in a long queue to purchase my ticket. I bought the second class ticket. The platform was a crowded place. As the train arrived there was a mad rush. Everybody wanted to enter first. I got a good window seat. The guard waved his green flag, the train whistled and then left the station. The compartment was overcrowded. People were talking and discussing all sorts of things. I enjoyed the scenes outside from my window.

A Journey by Train Paragraph in 150 words
In the last vacation, father took us all to Vaishno Devi. On 5th November, we reached New Delhi station at about 7 o’clock to catch the Mata Vaishno Devi Katra express. Father had our seats reserved in advance.
We took our seats in time. I was lucky to get a seat by the window. In our compartment, there were people from different parts of India. However, the train started after the green signal and soon it picked up speed. The train was running at top speed. I forget everything about the world and only looked outside through the window. Our first halt was at Panipat. As the train stopped, vendors came to us to sell their articles. Then having my supper, I fell fast asleep. I woke up and started enjoying the beauties of nature.
At last, we reached our destination- Katra. We took a taxi and reached our already booked hotel.
