Son- Father, air pollution is a great problem of the day. Isn’t it?
Father- Surely. This is the burning problem, the whole world is facing today.
Son- But .how.is air polluted, father?
Father- The air is mainly polluted by smoke from factories and vehicles.
Son- What are the effects of air pollution on human life.
Father- It has a very bad impact on man’s life. It causes diseases like tuberculosis, bronchitis, asthma, and nervous diseases.
Son- But how can air pollution be prevented, father?
Father- Measures should be taken to minimize the smoke nuisance. Saplings must be planted to keep the balance in nature.

Son – Well, father, air pollution is causing great damage to modern life. But what’s the way out?
Father- I think, large-scale plantation of trees can solve this problem to a great extent.
Son- How can plants and trees help us overcome this problem ?.
Father- They absorb the poisonous carbon monoxide from the air and thus maintain balance in the atmosphere. Besides, they are important for other reasons as well.
Son- But what are those?
Father- Plants and trees cause rainfall which is so important. They are also used as fuel.
Son- So they must be preserved at any cost. Isn’t it?
Father- Certainly. But only preservation is not enough. Large scale plantation is absolutely needed now.
Son- Is the Government aware of it?
Father- The Government is taking steps, no doubt. But the people must be more conscious about it.
