Once an old farmer was on the death bed. He was very sad and worried about his lazy sons. What will happen to them after I die,” he kept thinking. One day he called his sons by his side and said, “There is a treasure hidden somewhere in the fields. You have to dig the fields to discover it.” A few days later he died. His sons dug the fields in search of treasure but found nothing. They did not know what to do. Anyway, they sowed the seeds for the forthcoming harvest. The fields were very well dug. The result was a rich harvest. The sons sold the crop and got good returns. They realised that their father wanted them to work. The hidden treasure was an excuse to; make them shed their idleness. They did and learned a lesson that hard work always brings fruitful results.
