The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn. Agree or Disagree?
Time flies! doesn’t it? There was a time where all we know was to lit a bunch of twigs to set up fire but fortunately, science was introduced and we started learning amazing things. We learned sophisticated things throughout our life, from then to now and maybe forever. We educated ourselves through learning the languages. We read, wrote and practice it throughout the day and developed the ability to understand how things work around us. But still why many of us resist learning new things after understanding them by language? Yet, there are marvelous and amazing people who can’t read and write but never stop learning.
We are in the 21st century, everyone is educating themselves to get a job or to have a bright future ahead. Today, people are learning innovative things to be smart and put them in use. People have always been selfish, either they learn something that can help them by all mean or abandon the urge of learning. When we find ourselves in a deep trouble situation, we start blaming people around us because we never “LEARNED” to get things right. Whenever we don’t get a thing right in the first place we blame others because we never “RELEARNED” the same thing. Whenever we taught something incorrectly, we continued and never had an urge to “UNLEARN” the learned.
Still, you’ll find some gifted people around us who can’t write or read but never give up on learning. The People like them always find themselves in a better place throughout their lives because they never gave up on learning. People who learn always find their way out in toughest of all situations. They didn’t have fate to be a millionaire or win a jackpot to become rich overnight but that urge of learning will get them to be successful.
He was 4 years old when he spoke his first word. His elementary school teachers regarded him to be lazy because he had a habit of asking an abstract question which made no sense but yet he became one of the greatest intellectual mankind will ever witness.
