In the modern world, nobody can live without doing one or the other profession. The days of non-doing hermits, monks, and nuns are long over.
I’m studying in one of the best public schools in the state. My aim is to gain as much knowledge about different subjects as I can.
As I’m still a young student, it is not very easy for me to say categorically what I want to be in life. In spite of something that can be said, keeping in view my aptitude and circumstances and financial position and views of my parents.
My father is an army officer and for that reason, I have learned that discipline and patriotism are the two great virtues in life.
However, mere possession of these virtues is not enough. There is hard competition ahead. I must get through the NDA and other relevant examinations and get a high position in them. All that is easier said than done.
I’m working hard. My parents find no difficulty in procuring for me all the necessary books and coaching facilities. My father himself is a beacon-light for me. He not only guides me but also inspires me, and that is why I’m so full of confidence.
I’m a brilliant student at school and I hope I’ll remain so all my life. I do not think I need to be humble beyond the proper limit. Hence, I’ve no hesitation in saying that I want to be an army officer and I’m confident that I’ll successfully achieve my aim and ambition.

Life has a purpose. Everybody pursues some aim in life. I am not an exception to this rule. My aim in life is to become a commercial pilot. I feel fascinated by the man at his flying machine.
This ambition was put into my head by my uncle. He is a widely traveled man. He has known many pilots of Air India. He is all praise for these smart m Commercial pilots visit different countries and b home a variety of tales. They mix with people of all nationalities. They live in Five Star hotels. They visit all places of historical importance. They are highly paid. They enjoy a good style of living. Our society holds them in esteem. People like to sit in their company.
All that my uncle said about these men sharpened my appetite for this profession and gave me a target to hit. I learned from my uncle that I should study Science and Mathematics. Ever since my schooling, I have been reading these subjects with great interest. Now, I have joined the local Flying Club. This club has built up a good reputation for imparting training to its members. The club can boast of having the models of several planes. I have learned a lot about the functioning of the engine in the plane. The electronic system which’ governs the flying machine is complicated, but it is not beyond my understanding.
After completing my studies, I shall find a suitable job in a good Air Lines. I shall be the happiest person when I wear a pilot’s uniform.
I am hopeful that I shall fulfill my aim in life. It will move me on and on. I shall not take rest till I have realized my aim. May God bless me in fulfilling my dream.
