Essay on Childhood For Students & Children in English

Childhood Essay

Broadly speaking, human life can be divided into three parts. They are childhood, youth, and manhood.

Out of these three main parts of human life, childhood is considered to be the best, though, in reality, this may not in all cases be true.

The main reason for childhood being treated as the best period of human life is that this period is a period of innocence and is entirely free from worries of all kinds.

A child is not worried about anything. He is not even worried about his own food, clothing, and housing. He is not worried about his safety or security. He cares nothing for education till he is burdened with it by his parents. His only concern is to play and laugh. It is his parents who are responsible for his upbringing and making him a decent youth and adult.

Even the health of the child is the concern of his parents. The child does not care whether he is covered with dust or is getting drenched in rain. He is ready to go into a deep lake of the pool without caring whether he might get drowned. He does not even care about going near fire or touching it. A child is, however, afraid of certain things, or persons such as a bear, an explosion, a thief, a snake, a ghost, etc.

Even fears of certain things or persons are instilled into the minds of the child. Otherwise, he won’t care for anything or anybody.

A child is free from all kinds of worries of the world. He or she loves only toys and is ready to die for them.
