Outdoor activities are not usually a part of my daily routine because I am more of an indoor games kind of person. Nevertheless, in my free time, I engage myself in either jogging or football games. However, on this day, I was unusually chanced at noon, and I had a friend (Mark) come by my house with his roller-skates. After a few minutes of persuading me to give it a try, I rode on a skate for the first time.
When I finally consented to learn skating from him, we went to a lonely alleyway where moving vehicles are as rare as the passersby. As if he planned the learning all along, he came with two roller skates and quickly handed one to me. Mark held me firm as I stood up and proceeded in taking a few steps with the skates on.
Being the first time, it wasn’t the best of experiences; there were a few bruises to show for it. But it was entertaining, and I felt very good knowing that I had tried something new.
I plan on skating whenever I find a chance from my busy schedule, and I would recommend everybody to try roller skating at their leisure because it’s a lot of fun.
