People say that a reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. Books have a magical way of transporting you into the protagonist’s world and seeing the events unfolding right in front of your eyes. One such book that I read recently was Twinkle Khanna’s, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.
The book consists of four simple yet brilliantly written feel-good stories that manage to strike a chord with the reader compelling him to face the ugly truths in our rigid society.

We follow fictitious Bablu Kewat on his journey from social pariah to national celebrity, finally realising his dream of providing low-cost hygienic sanitary pads to rural women all over the country.
Not all heroes wear capes and the delightful stories in this book spell just that. The beautifully crafted characters and narration are sure to pull at your heartstrings and take you on a roller coaster of emotions.
